About Me

I am both a qualified Clinical Psychotherapist and also a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, registered with The UK Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP) and The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My professional journey began as a school teacher, working in state, private and boarding school settings. Having experienced exceptional personal therapy in my own life, I developed a more compassionate relationship with myself and others and learnt to live with greater ease. From here, I was drawn to move into the area of psychotherapy and counselling.

I am trained to work with a range of issues and concerns, including grief, matrescence and maternal mental health, low self-confidence, depression, anxiety, workplace-related stress and, more generally, feelings of low self-worth or seeking a new meaning or purpose in life.

This list is a small example of my work, and I can work across a broad range of issues.

My work is supervised by a senior UKCP accredited supervisor.
